Barrio de Palermo - Buenos Aires

Palermo is one of the most beautiful areas in Buenos Aires, with its charming streets, bookstores, bars, boutiques and many relaxing places.

The neighbourhood, has many interesting places to visit, you can go to:
  • Parque Las Heras (Las Heras Park), a good place for walks.
  • If you want to learning more about Evita, you can visit the Evita Perón Museum, located at 2988 Lafinur Street.
  • The Buenos Aires Zoo, where the main attraction are the endangered white tigers.
  • The Botanical Garden, its official name is Jardín Botánico Carlos Thays de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, has been declared a national monument.
  • The part of the city known as Palermo Viejo (Old Palermo), which is called also as the Palermo of Borges and Carriego.
  • The Rosedal, with its more than 12000 roses in the middle of the city.
  • The Japanese Garden, created in 1967 by the Japanese Community in Argentina.
  • The Parque 3 de Febrero, known also as "Bosques de Palermo", which is a forest of 25 hectares, it has three artificial lakes, gardens (the most famous is the "Garden of the Poets", where you will find sculptures of William Shakespeare, Alfonsina Storni, Dante Alighieri, Federico García Lorca, Antonio Machado, Paul Groussac and others).
