The Argentine television industry is widely viewed in Latin America, local programs are broadcast in other countries, Argentina has 46 channels of open television of which 29 are privately owned and 15 are owned by national authorities.

Argentina boast the highest penetration of cable and satellite television in Latin America, there are 4 national cable channels and more than 100 other cable channels that re-broadcast national and foreign shows.
